He's All Smiles! - A Scrapbook LO

Hi there! I'm all excited to present my latest scrapbook LO entitled "He's All Smiles". I have incorporated stamping, spraying and distressing onto the 12" x 12" Kaisercraft's cardstock.

I have actually sprayed on Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels onto the background and ensure that some droplets could also be seen (I kinda personally love the effect); then did some distressing around the edges of the cardstock with darker shades. A lil' stamping here and there, and blimey! I just cannot resist stamping with HeroArts; so there you go...plus a dotted circle stamps by June..

For this scrapbook LO, I have used:

12" x 12" cardstock: Kaisercraft
Rhinestones: Momoyo
Stamps: HeroArts (Bicycle and antique handwriting on alphas chipboard)
Misting: Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels (Golden Terracota)
Distress Inkpads: Tim Holtz (old paper)
Handwriting: Own

Togetherness - A Scrapbook LO

Hi once again! This week's scrapbook LO is titled Togetherness. I have used materials from various suppliers and had so much fun with it. I have incorporated HeroArts, Kaisercraft, Cosmo Cricket, Momoyo, Bazzil Basics and SazzyNSuch in this LO.
I have purposely made this LO a clean one since I kinda like the idea of togetherness to be pure, free-spirited and of course...clean. *wink*.

It took me about 3-4 hours (in total!) to complete this LO; but if I was not interrupted by routine home chores over the weekend, I would have probably completed it sooner. What it needs is just pure determination and wild imagination! LOL!
Since I am a CrazeeStamper and die-hard fan of HeroArts, I just could not resist the idea of stamping and once again I have used the bird greetings stamps (I have used in previous cards and scrap LO); which happens to be one of my favourite!

For this Scrap LO, I have used:
Stamps: LP121 bird greetings and CL136 Monogram Alphabets by HeroArts, Kaisercraft (for i am blessed)
Flowers: Prima
Cardstock: Cut-out from Cosmo Cricket and 12"x12" by Bazzil Basics
Rhinestones: Momoyo
Brads: Kaisercraft
Buttons: SazzyNSuch
Mixtape: Dear Lizzy by American Crafts

Ciao!

Left or Right?

I have been busy lately with work and just to share with you guys on my life other than Whimsical Ideas!, I have a real job, a real challenging and demanding job. Every now and then, I will make a silent promise to myself that yeah.."I'm gonna finish that layout, i'm going to finish that card!" but honestly, it's a pretty hard thing to do. My real work or job and the crafty stuffs I love to do is indeed a world apart. So, then I started to think, how does that explain me? It's just like you are standing on the equator line and one foot is in the northern hemisphere and the other in the south! Blimey! Alright, hang on for a second! Now, we have a left and right brain yeah? So, does that mean that one is more technical, analytical and the other is more on visualising, creative stuffs? Where did I read about that anyway?

Well let me show you something interesting below.

Now, it shows that the brain is definitely divided into two and it also shows how far apart they are!!I have taken up 3 quizzes to know which part of the brain is dominant for me. And Voila! it's almost equal!! 55% right and 45% left side!So that explains on why I can still withstand my job, which demands most of my left brain input and the love for "arty-farty" stuffs; of which the right brain is dominating.

One day, I will make a LO on this issue. One side is artsy and the other is techie! LOL!!
Now, where do I start......
