Don't think, can you? - art journal

I was just talking to myself. Just keep calm and don't think, can you? Yes, I'm trying my best. Away from work but kept thinking of work, work, work. So, enough of work...

Here's an art journal which I shared with my young boy. He insisted to colour it with the watercolour pencils. I wanted to use 3-4 colours in the beginning; but he had a better idea and tried using every colours in the box! Well, not all in the end. Lol!

He got bored, went to watch tv and I was left to complete the rest of it. So here it is.. I have used Faber Castell water colour pencils, big white marker Pitt artist pen (also from Faber Castell), distress paints by Ranger, stencil by Balzer's TCW, and artline pens.

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Lets walk to work - art journal

Hello there! I'm waiting for my dinner to arrive. Yeap, we are eating out tonight. Just me and Mr Hubby dearest. Well, it wasn't really planned. Mr Hubby left his working shoes in hometown Ipoh and had to borrow my Dad's shoes to work today! Hehehe... Almost thought he was going to wear slippers to work this morning. Hilarious! So now, we are out to shop a new pair of shoes. And it's on me cos I haven't bought him anything for his birthday yet. Lol!

Anyways, sharing with you an art journal
page entitled Lets Walk to Work! Aha! Really?! How I wish! It takes me around 20 minutes to work when the traffic is real smooth. I still wish the office is near enough so that I can walk. It would be a good exercise indeed.

Thanks for stopping by! Very brief post as usual. Sorry! See ya' next time!

I Love Batik - an art journal

Hi there! I'm in the office and feels too saturated with 'gasification of wood' hence I decided to take a break for a while. Lol!

Here's sharing with you my new art journal entitled 'I Love Batik'. Yes, I love batik and I love wearing them too. I would usually buy my batik in the east coast of Malaysia cos there's where you can get plenty of batiks with various designs and cheaper too.

I have used MS paints here after I gesso'd the page. I did the lady in batik myself but for her kurung or dress; I have used a printed fabric that I got from Papier. I could use Mom's old batik sarong. Lol! But they are all still in good conditions though.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!
See you again!

P/s: posting this through my iPhone. Sorry for the quality of the photo. Taken through phone too.

Doodling again..

Hi. Sharing another doodling work of mine recently completed. The bridge is inspired from the recent trip to the east coast. I'm not good at sketching human figure. Still trying my best. Lol! Even the cat looks more like a rat!

Thanks for stopping by! Ciao!

Zentangle

Hi there! Did this zentangle as soon as I got back on my feet after 5 days of being sick. I went into a a remote plantation area in the state of Terengganu ( east coast of Malaysia) for a new work assignment. On the way in, we had to pass by 2 chicken farm with such an incredible smell!!, a dilapidated looking bridge, a gloomy weather and flying insects everywhere around us; as well as those scurrying beneath our feet! We had a short meeting which was felt like 'forever' because our table was the car's bonnet and we stood all the way! Yes! We were really in the middle of nowhere. By the time we end the meeting, it started to rain and it was raining cats and dogs with strong gushing wind! Hey! And I thought the east coast is supposed to be at the end of its monsoon season!? No?

We had to hop in into another car by the time we got to the main road cos we went in with a four wheel drive earlier. I was partly soaked by the time I got into the other car! The umbrella just won't opened cos the wind was too strong! Lol!

We went to the beach for lunch later and omg! the wind was still too strong. You don't see a single boat out in the sea. Even the big ones! Lol!

Our jet ride home was at 4:30pm and by the time I got onto the aeroplane, I started having soar throat and headache. I still took the peanuts they offered me though! Lol! It was a mega bumpy jet ride due
to the bad weather .. And omg! I could almost hear my heart thumping!

When we reached KLIA .. Oh wow.. there was an 'awesome' thick black heavy clouds hovering above the airport terminal. It looked like in those alien invasion movies where suddenly something appear out from the sky! Lol! I have attached the photo here too.

So anyway, I got real sick the next day. Here's sharing with you the zentangle I did soon after I could lift up a pen and draw. My experience in the plantation with lots of trees.

Thanks for stopping by! Ciao!
